Cucumber Serrano Flavoring - 1 oz
Super Strength Cucumber Serrano Flavoring
A typical 5-6 gallon batch uses 1-2 drams (0.125-0.25 oz), depending on the flavor and desired intensity. Add the flavor during kegging or bottling, starting with the lower amount and adjusting gradually to taste. Mix gently and sample before treating the entire batch.
Flavor Profile and Beverage Ideas
Cucumber Serrano combines cool, fresh cucumber with green chile aroma and a controlled pepper bite. It is ideal for gose, Mexican-style lager, hard seltzer, hard cider, or Ranch Water. Keep the base crisp and dry so the cucumber remains refreshing and the serrano stays focused. Lime, watermelon, agave, cilantro, and a light salt addition are natural accents. In a dry base, Cucumber Serrano will read sharper; a little residual sweetness will make the aroma and finish feel fuller.
